Abstract

The purpose of this project is to construct our very own pH sensor. Many people have this idea that it is a hard thing to build sensors and it is only possible by professionals. Therefore, we want to change this perception. There are four parts in this project which is:
a) getting the parts
b) assembling the parts
c) programming the parts
d) calibrating the sensor

The pH sensor that we built was shown to be with quite high accuracy compared to the store bought one and at a low cost. The advantage of our project is that if one of the parts, for example the arduino, malfunctions, we can replace it much more easily than the store-bought pH sensor, making it more effective and reliable.
